Profhilo is a unique product that is different to anything else on the market at the moment. Profhilo has a very high hyaluronic acid content (64mg/2ml) and is stabilised by heat rather than by the use of any cross-linking chemicals. Because it is stabilised it has a duraton of action of about 28days before it is naturally degraded by your body. During this period the Profhilo diffuses beneath your skin and absorbs water and increases your bodies production of natural Hyaluronic acid to moisturise the skin from beneath as well as stimulating the manufacture of 4 types of collagen and elastin which are reduced during the aging process - giving the skin a more youthful appearance.
Profhilo is injected in 5 specifically chosen sites on each side of the face just beneath the surface of the skin. The process is then repeated after 1 month and full effects are visible about a month later. Effects last for about six months and then a further single treatment is needed every six months to maintain the results.
Profhilo can also be used to reduce neck wrinkling and and to rejuvenate skin on the back of hands.
